We had a great breakfast at Toast and will definitely be back! Service & food were great. Our waitress was super attentive and the food didn't take long to come out. We joined the online waitlist so we were seated almost right when we arrived. I'd definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

I don't usually venture to Downey, but this brunch spot is girly and cute (the perfect setting for my bridal proposal). Unfortunately, they do not have reservations during 10am-3pm on weekends, so I arrived a bit early to get a table and setup. They also have a Yelp wait that you go sign up for ahead of time on the day of, so that's helpful. When I arrived, the host was incredibly helpful and got me a table in the outdoor patio right away even though my party was still on their way. They were super accommodating with the time limit and helping me with my surprise, which I really appreciated (especially since I read some other review for their lack of service). If you're upfront and try your best to communicate with the restaurant, they will work with you. As for the food, it wasn't anything too special and also quite pricey. I ordered the House Benedict ($22) with arugula salad. The hollandaise was a bit thick, but the arugula salad was pretty delicious (huge compliment for a salad!). Everyone else ordered the Steak and Eggs ($39), which was a filling meal especially with two sides that no one finished. The drinks are really cute here as a friend and I shared the Margarita Flight ($36), which came with 4 little glasses of strawberry, cucumber, pineapple, and hibiscus margaritas. They were good, but cucumber was most refreshing. Overall, it's a cute spot for brunch with the girls. They even have a backdrop setup in the front for photo opportunities. The food is pretty standard and pricey, but it is aesthetic. Big props for the host who helped me setup my surprise though!

One of my go to brunch spots. Food never disappoints. I've tried the steak sandwich, chicken & waffles, and arugula salad is yummy. Ambiance is nice too and clean.

Absolutely no wait at all. Came in for dinner on Sat night. Waitress was very quick and attentive. Very modern decoration inside. The ribeye chiliquilles was hella good. Steak was cooked more medium/well-done when asked for med/rare. Good thing it's a fatty cut so it was still tender. Comes both with red and green style chiliquilles. Some chips were still crunchy which was really good. Added nice texture to the plate. The eggs was cooked perfectly over medium. Definitely will get again. 4/5 Cadillac margarita was pretty good too. Nice flavor and pretty strong. I personally think the jalapeno cucumber margarita tasted better. 3.8/5 Not a bad spot if in the area.

such a cozy yet beautiful brunch spot. the inside is quite loud just because people are talking over brunch but if u want a more calm atmosphere, maybe ask for an outside seating. the outside seating is honestly so much cuter and would rather sit there! food wise... WOW. wide menu selection but it very homey and gives off comfort food. everything i ordered was incredibly flavorful and price point was fair. my waitress was also kind and attentive :) can't wait to come back here from a birthday brunch or just to bring some family ! overall 9/10
